Performance
Natalie Patuzzo is an award-winning comedy performer and director, from Rugeley & Chelmsford, now residing in Manchester. She graduated from Rose Bruford College in London with a BA (Hons) in European Theatre Arts.
During her Erasmus studies at the Academy of Performing Arts, Prague, where she studied Non-Verbal Theatre, she discovered her love for clowning and physical theatre.
Since graduating, she has continued her training with notable instructors such as Philippe Gaulier, Carlo Jacucci, Jos Houben, Dr Brown, Damien Warren-Smith (Garry Starr), Julia Masli, Lucy Hopkins, and The Performer's Playground, among others.
Natalie went on to study an MA in Directing at ALRA North, but after a turbulent time with the school, was fortunate to receive funding to train as a comedy director with support from the Arts Council’s DYCP initiative. Through this, she received mentorship from acclaimed comedy director Cal McCrystal, clown performer-director Lucy Enskat, and performance artist and neurodivergent access consultant Vijay Patel, and shadowed Alex Jackson & La Navet Bete on Exeter Northcott’s panto, Dick Whittington.
A regular on the alternative comedy circuit, Natalie’s recent sets include Fairfield Social Club, Creatures Comedy Club, Plughole Scratch in Sheffield, and Club Wormhole in Nottingham. She also hosts ‘VILLAGE IDIOTS!’, an alternative comedy scratch night at Fairfield Social Club. Natalie has appeared in numerous theatre and comedy shows, including alongside Trygve Wakenshaw and Thom Monckton at Jatka78 in Prague. She is an associate artist of Chronic Insanity.
Natalie teaches a course in Clown & Physical Comedy and runs a monthly clown jam, both with ImproQuo.
She is currently developing her debut hour-long solo show, Every Single Sound In The World, to take to festivals in 2026. The half-hour work-in-progress was nominated for Best Newcomer at Manchester Fringe 2025. You can keep up to date with her performances, workshops and more on the homepage.
